Girls Not Brides: The Global Partnership to End Child Marriages.
Girls Not Brides: The Global Partnership to End Child Marriage is an international non-governmental organization with the mission to end child marriage throughout the world.
The organization was created by The Elders to enable small groups from around the world to address the common issue of early marriage.
As of 2017, more than 700 organizations from over 85 countries are partnership members of Girls Not Brides. Less than 10 percent of partnership members are international organizations.
Sixty-three percent of them focus their work in their own communities.
Girls Not Brides worked to include ending child marriage in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals for 2030.
Girls Not Brides works alongside governments to develop, implement, and monitor strategies to end child marriage nationwide. Sharing information to better combat child marriage and raising public awareness of child marriage are the main goals of the national partnerships they have with Bangladesh, Ghana, Mozambique, the Netherlands, Nepal, Uganda, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Action for Healthy Communities
AHC is a dynamic, community-based agency that serves people of all ages and backgrounds, including families, children, youth, adults and seniors.
Their community capacity building efforts – including programs and supports – are tailored to facilitate community development and boost the capacity of individuals, families and communities.
Action for Healthy Communities provides supports in Greater Edmonton and some northern Alberta locations.

ChangeX & Paramount+
CIRCLE International is a proud partner of ChangeX, a platform dedicated to empowering local changemakers with proven ideas and accessible funding. Together, we’re working towards building healthier, more inclusive, and sustainable communities, aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. While helping ChangeX reach its global impact goals, Circle International will also benefit from ChangeX’s expertise to advance our own objectives. Together, we aim to create lasting change in communities, nurturing a healthier, more inclusive, and sustainable future.
CIRCLE International in partnership with ChangX and Paramount+ are working to assist the immigrant by providing them Mental Wellness they needed through networking, collaboration and community support.
Alberta Recreation & Parks Association (ARPA)
CIRCLE International is partnering with Alberta Recreation & Parks Association (ARPA) under its Communities ChooseWell, a program dedicated to empowering healthy living champions and local governments across Alberta. Together, we aim to create sustainable changes that make healthy eating and active living easy choices for everyone, developing stronger and healthier communities.
Through our Alberta Community Engagement Initiative Project, CIRCLE International proudly supported by the Alberta Recreation & Parks Association under the Communities ChooseWell Program, hosted an inspiring event dedicated to promoting healthy food habits and raising awareness about Alberta Nutrition Guidelines.
Government of Alberta
Alberta’s Ethnocultural Grant Program is intended to support community organizations to implement initiatives that build diverse, inclusive and welcoming multicultural communities. Additionally, the program will support Indigenous communities to celebrate and build on their rich historical heritage.
The program promotes intercultural understanding by providing funding for projects that encourage people to share, learn, appreciate, and respect cultural diversity.
CIRCLE International has developed a dynamic partnership with the Government of Alberta, Ministry of Immigration and Multiculturalism to collaboratively spearhead the impactful project titled ‘Promoting Togetherness through Celebrating Diversity and Cultivating Unity.’ This groundbreaking initiative aims to adopt stronger bonds within our communities by taking up and celebrating our diverse cultural heritage while promoting unity and understanding.
The City of Edmonton
Edmonton City Council providing funding for an Anti-racism Grant Program to support the Anti-Racism pillar of the Community Safety and Well-Being Strategy. The goal of this program is to address Racism through Anti-Racism projects. The program aims to raise awareness about racism and its impact, deepen understanding of actionable ways to address it, and increase knowledge of community organizations working to dismantle individual and structural racism. Partners will collaborate to build a diverse, inclusive, and equitable city.
CIRCLE International is partnership with the city of Edmonton to jointly implement the project “Champion for Anti-Racism: Empowering Women through Community Collaboration”.
This groundbreaking initiative aims to empower racialized communities to confront racism, develop effective anti-racism strategies, and promote diversity and inclusion. Together, we will create a supportive and inclusive environment that uplifts local and immigrant women, enhancing unity and collaboration within our communities.
