Job Title: Project Officer
Type: Temporary Contract (Project-Based)
Location: Edmonton
Position Summary
CIRCLE International is seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Project Officer for a temporary, project-based contract. The successful candidate will support the planning, coordination, and implementation of project activities, contributing to the organization’s goal of empowering marginalized and vulnerable communities, including women, girls, and persons with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of project plans, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of outcomes.
- Coordinate with community stakeholders, partners, and participants to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Facilitate workshops, sessions, and other project-related events.
- Monitor project progress and compile regular reports for the team.
- Maintain accurate project records, documentation, and correspondence.
- Travel within the city as needed to attend meetings, events, or field visits.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preference will be given to candidates with proven experience in project coordination or community engagement; however, this is not mandatory.
Other Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to drive within the city are essential.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in diverse community settings.
